ADAA / Tilbouries Fishing 2008
An ADAA / Willie Banks initiative! The ADAA has a syndicate rod again for season 2008 on the famous Tilbouries beat! Members can now book a fishing session during the newly extended season. The Beat (see fishing beat map) The Tilbouries Beat is located approx 3 miles beyond the Mill Inn Hotel on the South Deeside Road.( location map) The Beat has a superb bothy, car parking, 12 excellent pools and is excellent value. Syndicate Details Bothy opens at 9 a.m. and closes at 5 p.m. All fishing ends midnight daily. No responsibility will be assumed for any rods, property etc. left either in the Bothy or elsewhere on premises. Any fisher bringing children, dogs etc. to the beat will be held directly responsbile for their behaviour and safety. Also, for any damage they may cause. Please, no dogs allowed in Bothy. Spinning is permitted from I3 February to April 15th or if weather conditions are not suitable for the fly. However, preference should be given to fishing the fly in the first instance. Please keep vehicles off mown areas and observe 10 m.p.h. speed limit throughout the beat.. Syndicate members wishing to bring a friend to fish may do so if a spare rod is available from the house. A reduced charge will be levied for this from syndicate members. Syndicate members may send a substitute angler in the event they are unable to attend. Prior notice would be appreciated An exchange of day with another member is obviously acceptable. Again notice, although not necessary, would be appreciated. (A full list of other members will be available from ghillie when compiled). Anglers fishing at Tilbouries will be required to complete a Gyrodactylus Salaris declaration Please print off a copy when taking casting tuition or fishing and hand a completed copy to Willie on the day. If he is not available please leave in the Tilboures Bothy. Please notify Ghillie within 24 hours of any fish caught.(Telephone 07776 146469 or 01330 811548) Tilbouries supports the Dee Angling Conservation Code - copy in Bothy Note: All members are bound by the Salmon and Freshwater Fisheries Acts and Regulations. Beat Regulations - The code of salmon fishing etiquette and good manners. Any points of etiquette of which you are unsure, please ask the ghillie before fishing.
